Graham Cross (40 cb) started slowly and roared home with an almost flawless back nine which was all that was needed to edge out Tony Hart (40) on a countback.
Tony will, no doubt, be ruing the two wipes he scored on the back nine which ultimately left him just short of victory.
MGC Ball winners were Graham, Tony, Kel, David, Nam, visitor Peter, Bob and Richard.
