Our Summer Reading Program 'Myths and Legends' launches on Tuesday, December 1, register at your local library and join in the fun for your chance to win some great prizes. This year there will also be a Reading Challenge just for adults.

Most exciting of all, every person who registers for the Summer Reading Program will also get to select a free book. The prize draw will be held at Mudgee Library on Wednesday, February 3, at 4pm - so don't delay - pop into your local library and sign-up today.
Manager Library Services, Michelle Maunder said the program is designed for all ages, from infants through to primary and high school aged children, and adults.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to reacquaint yourself with your local library and all that it has to offer. Our library staff have created a fantastic program based on this year's theme of Myths and Legends," she said.
"Once you join the program you'll receive a kit that includes a reading log and bonus activities to earn tickets in the prize draw. Reader will also get to select a book from a range of new releases, kindly donated by the Library's book and media suppliers."
School Holiday activities
Our January School Holiday Program is coming and there are plenty of free activities to keep the kids occupied these school holidays.
Make a batch of magical slime, create a clutch of dragon eggs, mix some enchanting potions, and construct your own Trojan horse - just to name a few.

Tech Savvy Seniors now has its own YouTube Channel, the digital literacy training program was designed to help seniors develop the skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.
The following training videos are currently available with more to be added in the future; introduction to smartphones; introduction to smartphone apps; introduction to zoom; how to transfer a file from your phone to your computer.
