There are seven categories in which to nominate. Mayor of the Mid-Western Region, Des Kennedy, encouraged residents to take a few moments to nominate someone who has made a significant contribution.
"2020 has been such a tough year for everyone and I have no doubt there are countless members of our community who have gone over and above for others whether that was during the drought, summer bushfires or COVID-19," Cr Kennedy said.
"If you've notice the service of someone this year, why not consider taking just a few moments to nominate them and shine a light on their achievements."

Nominations take a few minutes online at yoursay.midwestern.nsw.gov.au - where you can also find more information about each of the award categories - alternatively hard copy forms are available at Council's Customer Service Centres or libraries.
Outstanding achievements, contributions towards the community, sporting achievements and a strong support of community values are the basis of the 2021 Mid-Western Regional Council Australia Day Awards.
Nominees must be Australian citizens and must reside within the Mid-Western Regional Council area.
Mid-Western Regional Council's Australia Day Celebrations will take place at Robertson Park, Mudgee, on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
