The first round of the Central West Cricket Council's Rod Hartas Trophy saw two local sides go head-to-head at Victoria Park, Gulgong on November 29.
One the day, Gulgong (9/162) got the best of Mudgee (84), giving themselves 10 points to be aligned with Bathurst who also won their clash against the Blue Mountains at Bathurst Sportsground.
Gulgong will go on to play Blue Mountains at Peter Carroll Field on December 13, while Mudgee will go up against Bathurst at Victoria Park, Mudgee.
