That's what South Sydney Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly revealed on December 10 as part of an announcement that the red and green outfit are counting down the days until their Charity Shield appearance on February 27, 2021.
Having taken out all three previous Charity Shield clashes against the St George Illawarra Dragons at Glen Willow Stadium, the Rabbitohs look to take the final in their four year agreement with Council.
While talks are present behind the scenes about the two top-tier clubs returning for the annual pre-season derby, Solly said not only do the club hope to return in the upcoming years, but so too do their loyal fan base.
"We've had a really good record here, I think that's a bit of a credit to the facility as well, it's something that our coaching staff and players love coming to because the facility is so good," he said.
"There's been some talks, clearly it's an event we do with the Dragons so they've got to be as keen as we are but we would love to stay here for longer than the current deal.
Our club, members and supporters love it in Mudgee, we think this is the perfect venue for the Charity Shield.

"We have been working hard with them to discuss this, I'm hopeful there's going to be some announcement closer to the game, we have our fingers crossed," Mid-Western Regional Council's general manager, Brad Cam said.
"It takes a lot to get the people to agree to come here and once they come we want to continue that long term association."
Tickets for locals went live on December 8 with Solly and Cr Cam confirming there were three times more sales compared to years prior.
With that in mind, those looking to secure a spot at the 2021 Charity Shield are reminded to do so with urgency as limited numbers will be in place due to COVID-19, unless restrictions ease further.
"I was so thrilled when the tickets went on sale for locals on Tuesday, three times more ticket sales occurred so it's a real indication that the locals are really hungry for an NRL game," Cr Cam said.
"What a spectacular event it is and the fact we have large ticket numbers means it's going to be another great day."
The 2021 Charity Shield will be held on February 27, 2021 at Glen Willow Stadium, with tickets to be purchased at 123tix.
