NEW LIFE: The Red Rattler has been transported to a new home where it will serve as a bedroom to the grandchildren of Colleen and Max Walker.
Known by many as the Red Rattler, the "last train out of Mudgee" has been transported to a new home. Formerly located at corner of Mortimer and Lewis Street, Colleen and Max Walker recently purchased the slice of local history in hopes of transforming it.

"We're going to use it as a spare bedroom for our grandchildren. We're quirky people and like quirky things so this made a lot of sense," Colleen said.
