A fine field of 24 veterans, and six others, enjoyed a warm day on a course that is looking magnificent due to the hard work of the greens staff and the recent rains. Colin Todd (41) went 'back to back' as he claimed the second vets' win in succession. This achievement is extremely rare. He showed outstanding consistency with a score on every hole and only a mere three one pointers. Taking second prize was Michael Baun (37) who could do no wrong on the front nine but found the back nine a far more challenging experience. The Mudgee Golf Club ball winners were Colin, Michael, Daniel, Merrie, Shane, Neil, Ray, Jeremy, Mal, David, Ian and Christopher.
