The Property Shop clearing sale
This Saturday (March 6), The Property Shop will be hosting a clearing sale at 4 Burrundulla Avenue, Mudgee at 10am.
The sale will include cars, household furniture, pumps, motors, electrical tools, workshop tools, steel, timber, ladders, chains wire rope, blacksmith items, collectables and numerous other items
A 10 per cent buyers premium will be applicable at this sale.
Mudgee Agricultural Show
The Mudgee Show will return on March 6 in form of agricultural layout. This means there will only be cattle, sheep, poultry and horses.
Friday, March 5, Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7 will host Show Jumping events, while dressage with be on March 6 and cowboy dressage on March 7. All are subject to change.

Town Hall Cinema
Mudgee Town Hall Cinema will be showing Wonder Woman and War with Grandpa from Friday, March 5 to Sunday, March 7.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children/concession and children under 5 are free. There is a candy bar at the Cinema, serving fresh popcorn, snacks and drinks.
Session times:
- Wonder Woman: Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 7.30pm, Sunday 4.30pm
- War with Grandpa: Saturday at 11am and 3pm, Sunday at 11am

Return of Mudgee Shorts
Mudgee Performing Arts Society is planning for the return of Mudgee Shorts during the second week in March.
Themes in the plays showcased will vary from the comical to the sad, thought provoking to just plain fun. An entertaining and memorable theatrical experience will be assured.

Summer Nights @ 53FoodCo

Fermenta
Bringing together science, education and the best of regional produce for a one-day festival, Fermenta is an event not to be missed.
Hosted in the charming atmosphere of Rylstone and Kandos on March 13, there will be hands-on learning opportunities, workshops, demonstrations, markets and a Twilight Picnic.
Those attending can pick and choose the workshops they would like to attend from sauerkraut bottling, to kombucha and beer brewing as well as sourdough baking.
Riverina-bred singer songwriter, William Crighton headlines a diverse lineup of musicians performing at the picnic and Globe Beer Festival. A renowned storyteller combining traditional music with experimentation, Crighton's live show has been received to high acclaim across the world with performances at Blues Fest, WOMAD and Woodford Folk Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival and Boomtown.
Crighton's five-piece band will be joined by Bathurst duo Smith & Jones and crowd favourite Gramophone Man following a Welcome to Country and Traditional Smoking Ceremony.
A return bus service will be operating from Mudgee to the festival at 2.15pm and departing Rylstone at 7.30pm.

Mudgee Region Food + Trail
Take a journey through expertly crafted Mudgee region food and drink pairings across multiple venues.
Trail passes are $55 consisting of five vouchers, with each valid for one food and drink match at any of the participating venues during their opening hours.
Each venue will offer a non alcoholic option for children and designated drivers. All venues offer water.

Legends of Rock show
Hargraves Progress Association will be holding a dinner and show on Saturday, March 20 where mega rock hits will be revisited.
Hits to be played include Get Back, Revolution, Brown Sugar, Start Me Up, Listen to the Music, Rikki Don't Lose, You Really Got Me, Watchtower, Maggie May, Rebel Rebel, Play That Funky Music, Handle With Care, plus Aussie Rock hits and anthems from the 80s.

Mudgee Readers' Festival
Returning on August 21 and 22, the Mudgee Readers' Festival will be 'packed to the rafters' with stories from popular authors, talks from creators, discussions and 'fabulous' wine pairings.
Information will be shared in the upcoming months regarding schedules.
The Mudgee Young Readers' Festival will take place on August 11 with trivia, talks, reading parties, and more.
