Neil Bourke and his two-year-old daughter, Ariana, have travelled to Mudgee from Sydney to cheer on the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
"It's a beautiful place to come to. We left Sydney this morning in the pouring rain and have come here, and there's beautiful sunshine this afternoon," Neil said.
More Mudgee news:
"I am always excited for the football to be back, she's a sixth generation Rabbitohs supporter and I'm a fifth generation, we have always been massive Rabbitohs supporters," he said.
Neil and Ariana are long-time supporters of the bunnies and are hoping for a win.
"Adam and the Bunnies are going to win, and Reggie is going to win too," Ariana said.
Jenny Kent and Nathan Manly have travelled from Bathurst to cheer on the St George Illawarra Dragons.
"I am a big football supporter, and I go to games all the time, and I just love the atmosphere," Jenny said.
"Being able to come out to the country to experience it out here is a good time."
Cass and Ebony have also travelled from Sydney to support the Dragons.
"We have been coming every year since 2018 and absolutely love it," Cass said.
"I think it's going to be a good game, a good trial match to see what both teams have got for the season."
