In true Country Championship fashion, patrons came from far and wide dressed to the nines to get a taste of some of the best country racing on offer.
Held at Mudgee Racecourse on February 28, despite earlier predictions, the day dispensed no shortage of heat, with the Mudgee Race Club's decision to deploy multiple shade measures a saving grace for all.
Racing was and continues to be top knotch with all but three races, including the Country Championships, to take place at the time of publication.
