A former mining employee is expected to appear in Orange court on Monday having been charged with 136 offences, after allegedly defrauding the company of almost $2 million.

Detectives from the State Crime Command's Financial Crimes Squad, with assistance from Central West Police District, established Strike Force Curnuck to investigate reports of fraudulent offences committed against a mining company between 2009 and 2017.
Police will allege in court the man used his employment at a mining company to fraudulently obtain and use funds valued at more than $1.9 million.
He is due to appear to appear at Orange Local Court on Monday, March 1, where detectives are also expected to lay additional 80 fraud-related charges.
Investigations under Strike Force Curnuck are continuing.
