The shave will take place on Saturday 13 March at Cheveux Studio, and Margaret is excited to lose her locks again. "I wait to get my head shaved once a year, I feel absolutely fabulous when I do it, it's so liberating and exhilarating," Margaret said.
The World's Greatest Shave is a cause very close to Margaret's heart.
"First off it was in memory of my best friend, soul mate and the only person I wanted to live for," Margaret said.
"Now I would like to do it for a poor little soul who was only two years old, and that's incredibly cruel, and I would like to let the family know that someone is trying to do something to help."
Once Margaret's head is shaved she will dye what is left of it hues of yellow, purple and green. "The brighter the better," she said.
Margaret is hoping that her participation in the World's Greatest Shave will make a positive difference. "Hopefully I can raise some awareness and eventually a cure, and hopefully some funds," she said.
Margaret would like to thank Live Better, Kate Lynch, Ispa Kebabs and James at the Butcher Shop Café for their support.
So far The World's Greatest Shave has raised just under $7 million this year to further lifesaving research and support families facing blood cancer.
