When and where will Fermenta be held?
Fermenta will be held on March 13, 2021 in Kandos and Rylstone.
How does it work?
Fermenta will offer a variety of workshops, demonstrations, tours and entertainment, all featuring local produce and talent.
The day-long festival will feature a variety of events beginning with food and wine markets and entertainment in Kandos.
Local producers will host small group workshops on their field of fermentation including Breakfast with an Alpaca, Wild Stories Foraging Guide, Kombucha Demonstration, How to Make Honey Ginger Beer, Sourdough Crumpets Workshop, Chocolate Fermentation, Kombucha Brewing Workshop, Traditional Sauerkraut Demonstration and more.
The event will finish with its highlight point, a Twilight Picnic on the banks of the Cudgegong River at the Rylstone Showground.
Tickets purchased include a picnic hamper prepared by Mudgee Made.

On the day, there will be The Globe Beer Festival which will give attendees the option of tasting 100 beers including special guests Bilpin Cider, Hillbilly Cider, Pickled Monkey Brewing Co, Devil's Hollow and more.

What will the weather be like?
According to AccuWeather, March 13 will be a top of 27 degrees celsius with a 10 degree low during the night.
What do I wear?
Given you may be eager to walk through the towns, it is advised to wear something comfortable (both clothing and shoes wise).
Have skin protective care methods on hand, depending on what part of the day you intend on attending.
What do I need to bring?
Picnic blanket, hats and sunscreen. Bottles of water are always a good idea also.
