On Wednesday morning a 26-year-old man was arrested at a home in Mudgee. A short time later, a 31-year-old man was arrested at a home in Sydney's Rouse Hill.
Orana Mid-Western Local Area Command Superintendent Peter McKenna said police believed the two men charged were syndicate leaders working together to distribute drugs in the Mudgee township from Sydney.
The search warrants were executed on Ray Gooley Drive and Mortimer Street in Mudgee and Old Grattai Road in Rouse Hill, Sydney.
During the searches officers seized cocaine, cannabis, pills, and MDMA as well as a gel blaster pistol, cash and ammunition.
Orana Mid-West police District Commander Superintendent Peter McKenna said they seized $95,000 worth of cocaine and MDMA alone.
"That's over 300 supplies of cocaine and 200 supplies of MDMA," Superintendent McKenna said.
The 26-year-old arrested in Mudgee was charged varying counts of six offenses.
He was refused bail at Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday to reappear before the same court on Wednesday, May 19.
The 31-year-old man was taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with varying counts for six offensives.
He was bail refused to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday and was formally refused bail to reappear before the same court Monday, March 22.
A 21-year-old woman was also arrested and charged at Mudgee Police Station with three counts of 'take part in supply prohibited drug'.
She was granted conditional bail to appear before Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday, May 19.
Superintendent McKenna said police allege both men had worked together to distributed drugs in person and through Australian Post, a method he says was "stupid".
"On this occasion, again, they've been caught doing it," Superintendent McKenna said.
"Whether or not their methodology changes from time to time, we'll be right there behind them and we'll be catching them and putting them before the courts.
"[Mailing drugs is] not a new thing, there's all sorts of ways criminals try and outsmart authorities, but again, on this occasion, they've failed, been arrested and put in jail."
Superintendent McKenna said he was not ruling out further arrests and investigations were ongoing.
