The first session will be held on Wednesday, May 12 from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, followed by a Women in Local Government evening session from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Meanwhile, the third session will be held on Thursday, May 13 from 8am to 11am.
Women attending the Women in Local Government evening session are encourage to register for either of the general awareness sessions.
Led by former Leichhardt Council Mayor and Councillor of more than 20 years, Marie Sheehan, the sessions are open to any member of the community interested in learning about Council and the role and responsibilities of its elected members.
Sessions will be held in Council Chambers at 86 Market Street, Mudgee.
