The local acceptances for the 2021 Gooree Cup (1400 metres) include Mackellar's Love for Cheryl Crockett who will jump from barrier 5 and Thompson Racing's ever-popular Amy's Shadow who will welcome Grant Buckley in the saddle.
Crockett and Thompson Racing will be joined by former Mudgee-based Cameron Crockett (Scone) Zaunkonig who has drawn wide with Samantha Clenton in the saddle.
Come and join us for a fabulous, family friendly day out where mum can put up her feet, perhaps back a winner and enjoy a glass or two of bubbles.

Fashions on the Field will, as always, be hotly contested throughout the day, with the judging to occur later in the day for:
- Best Dressed Lady
- Best Dressed Man
- Best Dressed Junior, and
- Best Millinery
Gates will open at 11am on May 9 at the Mudgee Racecourse while the first race is scheduled to jump at 1.15pm, and the Gooree Cup at 4.10pm.
