Doolan, who is a new face in the Panthers' premier league squad this season, has scored at least one try in all five of the Bathurst club's matches this season, including a personal high of four in his team's 88-6 massacre of Lithgow Workies.
Doolan's rival for the top try scorer trophy Orr has scored all of his tries in just four games for Mudgee, including a season high of five against against Lithgow Workies in round five and a double against the same opponent back in round two.
That second round match against Mudgee had originally been won by the Dragons, but they were later stripped of their points due to an discrepancy in the club's roster.
The points were then awarded to Lithgow and the score changed to a Workies 31-13 win, with Workies being awarded the average winning score from the round, while Mudgee was awarded the average losing score from the round.
Orange CYMS' Addison Williams is in third with seven tries, Mudgee's Jayden Brown has crossed the line six times this season in fourth, while Lachlan Munro from CYMS, Panthers' Malik Blenman and Orange Hawks' Jordan Baker are all tied for fifth with five tries each.
In the top point scoring department, Williams is a comfortable leader over Panthers' Willie Wright (44 points from one try and 20 goals), having scored 72 points so far this season (seven tries, 22 goals).
Jayden Brown from Mudgee is in third, having scored 38 points from six tries and seven goals.
In first division, Panthers' Dylan Miles and Blayney' Joey Hobb top the try scoring charts with five, with Blayney's Aiden Nunn the top point scorer with 42.
In the under 18s, Workies' Sam Lane is the top try scorer with six, while Mudgee's Nick Murphy leads the way with 52 points.
In league tag, CYMS' Emily Williams has scored the most tries with eight, while St Pat's skipper Mish Somers is the top point scorer with 60.
