Officers responded to reports of the discovery of one Merino wether with bite marks and then two deceased lambs by the landholder of a property on the Narrango Road, which was made in the early hours of July 4.
The landholder heard a vehicle on his property and believes the dogs which mauled the sheep may have been owned by illegal pig hunters.
