Earlier this month, the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) announced the finalists in the Awards for Excellence, naming Alyse Pilley and David Goldring in the Residential Salesperson category as well as The Property Shop as a whole.
"When you're competing with metropolitan and Sydney agents where the average listing price is $2 million per listing and then you go waterfront, it's an incredible achievement and I'm very proud to be representing The Property Shop," Mr Goldring said.
"I'm absolutely honoured, it's nice to be up there with the best," Ms Pilley said.
"As a principal of the office, I'm very proud of these two and how they do their jobs," The Property Shop's Andrew Palmer said.
"It's not just about the number of transactions, it's about how they do their jobs and the professionalism they have. It's great to have them both as finalists."
The Property Shop's listing in the Real Estate Agency section is something Mr Palmer described as a reflection of the team's effort as an entity.
"It's fantastic to be recognised as a business as a whole, it's all a team effort to make sure things are done the right way," Mr Palmer said.
In addition to her REINSW finalist position, Ms Pilley has also been announced as a final contender in the Sales Agent of the Year - Regional for the REB Women in Real Estate Awards.
The announcement is something that she hopes will inspire fellow female agents, especially those in regional areas.
"It's humbling, and I hope it helps females see that even though we live in the country, we can be the best and strive to be up there with the guys," Ms Pilley said.
The REINSW Awards for Excellence gala dinner will be held on September 9, 2021, meanwhile the REB Women in Real Estate Awards will be held mid next month.
