Together with Social Focus, the CMRI Mudgee Committee made a video featuring six Mudgee kids who depend on the work the Children's Medical Research Institute does every day.

With Jeans for Genes Australia Day just around the corner, Mudgee's CMRI Committee are focusing on raising much-needed funds and awareness for the Children's Medical Research Institute who conduct worldwide research every minute of every day to make the worlds of these children infinitely better.

Tuesday 3rd August

From 10:30-1:30 MKR Choppers will be giving the local kids featured in the video a scenic helicopter ride around the Mudgee Region.

Friday 6th August - Jeans for Genes Day!

Come to Blooms the Chemist on Friday 6th August between 9am and 1pm to purchase Jeans for Genes Mudgee Edition T-Shirts, J4G Merch and sweet treats donated by Mudgee Bakery & Cafe.

Lots of schools and businesses across the region will also be having mufti days.

Sunday 8th August

A big CMRI celebration/continue of J4G fundraising will be held at 53 Food Co as they do their last day selling blue 'Doin it for the Mudgee kids' burgers and cocktails.

The celebration will feature music by Paddy Butterworth, Kids Yoga by Amy Wilson, dessert by All Things Nice as well as loads of other fun activities.
