That's the message the Midwest Brumbies are sending to their players as frustration builds with the competition still stuck in limbo.
Western Women's Rugby League are yet to make a formal announcement about what this season will look like, however Brumbies president, Greg Ward said at this stage, it's looking like the competition will be shortened.
"We're waiting for Western Women's Rugby League to make their decision on whether a competition will go ahead or not," Ward said.
"They have a date in mind for October, it would be a shortened season of five weeks but that's where it stands at the moment."
Although no dates are set in stone, players are encouraged to train as much as they can on their own should games go ahead.
"The coaches we've got for the young girls working through to the 18s are putting up posts on their chat pages to try and get the girls doing as much training as they can on their own which is probably a bit harder than normal," Ward said.
"It's hard to determine the fitness levels and how they're going to react."
While all involved would be 'devastated' should the competition be canned, for Ward, player safety is where his concerns lie.
"To head into a season with next to no training straight off the bat, I'm a little worried about that," he said.
"I'm sure they would be devastated if they can't play this year but if not, there's always next season.
"We'll just battle through another period of lockdown and live to fight another day."
