The music festival announcement back in April will now take place at Craigmoor Wines on Saturday, 26 March 2022 following a decision by organisers to push the event to next year due to uncertainty around ongoing border closures.
In the first week of September, the date on the event on Facebook changed from an October 30 date to March 26, 2022. The Mudgee Guardian reached out to the organisers for clarification who said the event had not been delayed, but following the query the information on the Facebook page was changed back to the October 30 date.
However it seems the change was premature as the event has indeed been delayed.
Taking the stage in Mudgee in March will be Daryl Braithwaite, Kate Ceberano, Russell Morris, The Black Sorrows, Richard Clapton, Dragon, Ross Wilson, Shannon Noll, Wendy Matthews and Bachelor Girl.
The Mudgee Guardian caught up with Shannon Noll in July who was eager to head back to Mudgee.
"It's just all about memories and there will be songs you heard over the years and grew up on or still listen to," he said.
"It's a really great opportunity to reminisce and sing along to a lot of songs mostly everybody knows.
"I absolutely love Mudgee, I think it's a magnificent, gorgeous place and I'm really keen to get out there."
Ticket holders are assured that their tickets are valid for the event in March and will hear from Ticketek this week according to organisers.
