The back rower sat down with the Mudgee Guardian to share his thoughts on the upcoming season, why he signed, who he thinks will come back the least fit and more.

MG: What is your history with the Mudgee Dragons?
I played a handful of under 18 games and first grade games back in 2008. While going to school in Sydney, I moved back to Mudgee in 2014 after a stint in Sydney and Newcastle and have been playing first grade since.
MG: Why did you sign on for 2022?
MG: What are two of your all-time rugby league highlight moments?
My NYC debut and winning the 2016 grand final.
MG: What does your fitness routine look like?
Four days a week at Funk Fitness.
MG: What is your preferred time of the day to train and why?
Mornings so I can start the day in a positive way.
MG: Which of your teammates will come back the most fit?
Ben Thompson.
MG: Which of your teammates will come back the least fit?
Clay Priest.
MG: Who are the strongest teams in Group 10 right now?
Orange Cyms.
MG: What can we expect from the Dragons next season?
Strong defence and attacking, entertainment for our supporters.
MG: What's your favourite sports movie?
Dodgeball.
MG: Who is your rugby league idol?
Beaver [Steve] Menzies.
MG: What would you change about the game as it is today?
More funding and attention focused on the grassroots and junior development of our game from the NRL and commission.
