Sculptures in the Garden (SIG) 2021 has commenced on a high, attracting record sales and hundreds of guests within the first two days.

The annual event welcomed approximately 840 people across Saturday and Sunday, and it's likely the event's popularity will remain.
"It was fantastic. We had record figures in regards to sales and an amazing number of people who came," SIG curator, Kay Norton-Knight said.
"Of course we are running Sculptures in the Garden for 16 days again this year, and because the lockdown has finished for the fully-vaccinated Sydneysiders, we're going to have a good few days."

With 295 sculptures, treats for the eyes of all ages were aplenty.
"We have lots more sculptures this year. They're all from right around the place," Mrs Norton-Knight said. "It's a good, varying exhibition with 95 artists.
"There's a large variety of sculptures to choose from, suitable for all budgets so we encourage everyone to come along."
This year's winners were:
- $25,000 Sculptures in the Garden and Mid-Western Regional Council Acquisition. Prize: 'Ahead' by Harrie Fasher (Portland)
- $10,000 Friends of Sculptures in the Garden Acquisition. Prize: 'Pensive' by Nicole O'Regan (Sodwalls)
- $5,000 Moolarben Acquisition. Prize: 'Runner' Francois Jaggi (Armidale)
- $5,000 Buchanan Artistic Merit Acquisition. Prize for small sculpture: 'The Great Escape' Alan Kuczynski (Seaforth)
