Three Tails is no stranger to state of the art equipment, first homing a gargantuan smoker named 'The Governor' and now a micro canner from the United States which is expected to open a new portal of business for the local brewery.
Head brewer, Scott O'Brien said the ability to purchase a case of Three Tails beer will not only be a benefit to local brew lovers, but also those across Australia.
"The plan was always to, apart from kegging, package tins of beer so people have the option to take a case of their favourite home," Mr O'Brien said.
"Having cases available will allow us to reach more people. Kegs are big, bulky items, they weigh 60 kilos and you have to have a tap for them, while you can sell a case to people all over Australia.
"We're making great beer in Mudgee and this will take it to the rest of the country."
Given the variety of beverage options available at Three Tails, the pack of 16 400 millilitre cans will host a different flavour each week, with only an exclusive number of cases available.
"The idea is that we'll release a beer each week. People will be able to come in and try it on the Wednesday and if they like it, they can take a case home that night," Mr O'Brien said.
"We've only got a super limited run of cases so it'll be something new and fresh all the time to keep people's interest up and give them a chance to try different beer styles.
"There will be something for everyone."
Three Tails cases will be available for purchase "pretty soon".
