The under 14s division two match was an easy win for Taipans over Cudgegong Valley Blue, 58-23. The Taipans exploited their height advantage to the full over a courageous, never say die, effort from the Cudgegong Valley Motel Blues.
Cooper Crowe top scored for Taipans with 33 points, Kian Hayes 10, Jesse Box 8.
For Cudgegong Valley Motel, Ed Disher 9, Hunter Conroy 6.
The under 14s division one final went to overtime, Celtics just holding out Hawks in a classic match 34-33.
Spencer Comincioli sank a number crucial baskets late in the game, scoring 13 points, Lachlan Doran 8, Cooper Riley 6.
Riley Durrant hit 16 points for Hawks, Evan Wilson 5, Bill McCarney and Benn Hanson 4 each.
In the grand finals on December 1 at the PCYC, Taipans Orange play Cudgegong Valley Motel Red at 4pm in D2, while in the D1 grand final, Celtics Green take on Mayso's Pro Shop at 5pm.
Minor premiers Club Mudgee Hornets after a tense struggle in the first half, defeated Warriors Gold 46-32 in the under 18s final.
Warriors put up strong resistance for the first three quarters, but Hornets asserted their authority over their opponents in the final period for a decisive win.
