Our guide is one of the main marketing tools we use throughout the year, with a distribution of 90,000 copies.
Last year we saw a shift away from our traditional glossy magazine to a matt finish, which completely changed the look and feel of the guide.
The response was overwhelming, and continues to be so, with the staff still being told that it’s one of the most user - friendly guides they’ve come across.
It’s also one of the main tools we use at the visitor centres to help our visitors with their enquiries.
Our guides are not only distributed throughout our regional Visitor Information Centres and our member businesses, but through most Visitor Information Centres in New South Wales.
We also receive enquiries daily from prospective visitors to have our guides posted directly to their home. This year once again we plan to distribute the guides to local households in our region.
We understand the importance of your visiting friends and relatives to our overall tourism economy.

Mudgee Region Tourism Inc. had 28 applications for the role of Tourism Manager and between July 21 and 22 telephone interviews were conducted with 14 applicants.
Later this week we expect to finalise a short list for interviews to be held in the next week or so.
We are happy with the applications received with respect to backgrounds and skill set, so we hope to identify our new Tourism Manger soon.

Internationally renowned author, model and TV presenter Tara Moss was in town this week and travelling in her vintage caravan Bettie with her 3 year old daughter.
She used Instagram to post photos and enthusiastic snippets about travelling in our region. What a great fun way to spread the word about us, thanks Tara.
