Shooters from around Australia and New Zealand took part in the 38th national championships held at the Windamere Shooting Complex.
Over three days, more than 300 shooters from as far west as Western Australia to across the Tasman, shot at 225 targets - 75 each day - to become national champion.
It was the first time in more than decade Mudgee Sporting Clays had hosted the championships.
There were a few shooters from the local club taking part in the competition.
Most of the visitors complimented the course and said how tough shooting the targets were.
The visitors also would like to thank the local club for their hospitality and friendliness throughout the weekend.
Full results of the 38th annual Australian Sporting Clays Championships will be in Wednesday’s The Weekly.
