This year’s event, featuring 15 minutes of fireworks and themed music, promises to be the biggest and most spectacular Christmas event of the decade.
Carols in Mudgee is a true community event that is run jointly by the two Rotary Clubs of Mudgee and the Combined Churches of Mudgee.
And there’s a much welcomed bonus...entry is free to everyone.
“Mid-Western Regional Council, Wilpinjong, Ulan and Peabody Mines...plus many many local businesses, the whole community is guaranteed a magical night to remember,” said musical director David Miles, who is also the vice-president of the Rotary Club of Mudgee Sunrise.
“You won’t want to miss this one...not even great Grandma!”
Gates swing open at the Mudgee Showground from 5pm .
From there the word fun combines dynamically with Christmas happiness in a big way...with a great line-up of activities that will appeal to families and friends of all ages.
“You won’t want to miss this one...not even great Grandma!”
Santa will land by helicopter with a huge sack full of free Christmas lollies for the children and there’s free face painting, local dance clubs performing and free glow candles, .plus a lot more. Everything is being catered for.
No need to bring food, or coffee/tea/soft drinks or ice creams as a variety of stalls will be well stocked to keep every tummy full.
Around 7pm the talented Christmas choir and performers will take centre stage.
They will be performing all the wonderful Christmas songs we know and love as well as some new surprises.
The equally talented supporting musicians will keep everyone in tune and in that peaceful joyous mood that makes us all feel so good.
At 9pm, the skies will explode with a fireworks extravaganza.
