Each girl rode in numerous classes and with nearly 50 riders in each age group, they always had their work cut out for them.
Molly Best from Rylstone Pony Club riding Shortie, rode in the 11 and under 13 years age group.
Molly got a call-in and workout for pleasure hack. While she didn’t place, she did a fantastic workout and can be very proud of her efforts.
Lily Best from Rylstone Pony Club riding Latingirl, rode in the 13 and under 15 years age group.
Lily received two call-ins for rider and hack classes but unfortunately did not place.
Lily rode well and definitely looked the part and has gained some valuable experience for her future show riding competitions.
Mikayla Wilkinson from Rylstone Pony Club riding WP Midnight Oil, got called-in in the hack and handler classes and placed fifth in her hack class.
The calibre of riders in these classes was outstanding so this is a wonderful effort for a great rider.
Cassie McCarroll from Mudgee Pony Club rode Braeview Grace and she got called-in and was placed first in her working hunter class.
Again, the calibre of riders in these classes was so high, this is a fantastic effort for another great rider.
Despite the heat and the stormy nights, the girls all put in a fabulous effort.
Their presentation was great and they were a credit to Zone 6 and were a wonderful team.
Team Manager Tonia Best said that the experience of Mikayla and Cassie shone through and they both proved to be wonderful leaders and mentors to younger riders Lily and Molly.
