The 67-year-old driver of a car that left Ulan Road and hit a tree just outside of Mudgee yesterday afternoon has been taken to Westmead Hospital.
The woman, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered several injuries but none life threatening and was trapped by confinement in the vehicle.
Police inquiries are continuing today.
