A 30-year-old Cassilis woman was fined $550 for failing to leave the Mudgee Hotel on Saturday after she was identified as being heavily intoxicated.

The woman had earlier been removed from another licensed premise in Mudgee.
Around 11.30pm, the woman attempted to enter the hotel’s nightclub area by being overly affectionate towards security monitoring entry to the location.
She was asked to leave the hotel no less than four times but refused.
Police assisted security, asking the woman to leave, but she still refused.
The woman’s identification was confirmed and she was issued a $550 fine.
The woman, still refusing the leave the location had to be physically removed.
Later that evening the woman was seen squatting and urinating in the driveway of the Anglican Church on Church Street in Mudgee.
She was issued with an infringement for offensive behaviour and another $550 infringement to add to her collection.
