The lunch is part of a 25-week fundraising challenge undertaken by Darlene, her husband, John, and her family.
The family hopes to raise $5000 to help the McGrath Foundation to fund Breast Care Nurses in regional and rural areas.
Their fundraising effort was inspired by the loss of Darlene’s father, and her aunt Shay Power, who has breast cancer.
Support for the lunch has helped Darlene to get a step closer to her fundraising target.
Future events planned include a Cupcake Day in July, a McGrath Foundation lunch in September, and a Pink Party in October.
