The award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given to establishments that consistently achieve high ratings and reviews on the TripAdvisor website.
Previous winners include accommodation, eateries and attractions all over the world that have continually delivered superior customer service.
General Manager of Rosby Guesthouse Amber Norton-Knight was appreciative to all those who had commented on the website.
“Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at the Rosby Guesthouse and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor,” she said.
“This is our second year we have received this award in the two years of being listed with TripAdvisor, and we take pride in receiving feedback from every guest that stays with us at the Guesthouse.”
TripAdvisor uses an algorithm which takes into account the quality and quantity of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a year as well as business’s tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site.
Rosby was up against a host of business’s from around the world that have been rated at least four out of five on the site.
TripAdvisor President for business, Marc Charron said he was pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travellers on the site.
“By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive increasing hospitality standards around the world, it also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition,” he said.
