Saturday’s event was a single stableford with a teams event in conjunction.
The A grade winner was Andrew Dunstone on 36 points followed by Jason Seis on 34 points. Roger Catchpole won B grade with his 37 points and Geoff Rhodes was runner up on 33. David Riley and Brian Smith were victorious in C grade with their 29 and 27 points respectively. There were 36 starters, balls went to 29 points and the rating was 73.
The teams event was won by David Keith from Asquith Golf Club and local players Andrew Dunstone, Graeme Kurtz and Chris Peters. With no run on the course and creeks overflowing playing conditions have rarely been more difficult and anyone playing anywhere close to their handicap should not be disappointed. A big thank you must go out to Jason Seis and his dedicated team in keeping the course open.
Next Saturday the members will play the monthly medal stroke event.
