For one week they will complete tasks ranging from dancing in public wearing a crazy outfit to feeding a homeless person or entertaining kids in hospital.
“It started in 2011 and you sign up, it’s only $18 and that goes towards the Random Acts of Kindness Charity,” Tyrolin said. “So what it involves is you’re given a list of about 200 items and in your team of 15 which can be all Mudgee people or you can have an international team from America, England – that kind of thing. “They actually recommend that you have an international team so that if there’s an item that says something like ‘Go to the Pyramids and do a cartwheel’ you can get someone nearby to do it.” The competition winners receive a trip to Iceland. “But I’m not really interested in that I think it’s a great way to let people know about this charity and bring back a little fund and childhood innocence.”
