Although stall numbers were down because of clashes with other events, there were some interesting stalls on hand.
Stalls on offer including newcomers Bess and Cara from Portland.
The mother and daughter partnership trade under the name Wild Gourmet.
They said they were very happy with their location in the Rylstone Memorial Hall.
Their items included a selection of jams, sauces, pickles, chutneys and bottled cordial made from an ancient Persian recipe.
Local ceramicist and regular stall holder Sue Foldhazy was there with her delightful mugs, jugs and platters.
She was also promoting an exhibition at The Stables Gallery in Mudgee by Country Claymakers.
The exhibition features ceramics by local and regional artists.
The exhibition opening will take place this Friday, September 2 from 6pm to 8pm.
It will then be open each day from 10am to 4pm until September 11.
Serving with a smile were the Rotary regulars.
They had on offer breakfast, brunch or a lunchtime snack.
One of the really popular stalls is Therese Hay’s delightful Swiss patisserie selection.
Therese works hard to bake up a feast the day before market day.
She is also the contact person for new stallholders wanting to join the association.

The next market day
Saturday, September 10. The first spring market for 2016.
Market open second Saturday every month 9am to 1pm: local produce, artwork and craftwork at Rylstone Memorial Hall on Louee Street
The market gives both visitors and locals the opportunity to purchase some of the wonderful things people around here make or grow, and gives local artisans and producers the opportunity to showcase their wares.
