The Gulgong Swap Meet and Market Day is coming up on November 13 at the Gulgong Showground. Presented by the Gulgong Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Club, the event is in its sixth year and still growing.
Organiser Scotty Pollard said the swap meet started as a small gathering on a private block, which it outgrew after the first two years. It is now one of Gulgong’s biggest events, drawing visitors from around NSW and interstate.
Mr Pollard said the event was a relaxed family-friendly day, a great opportunity to pick up some bargains and a chance to see a great variety of cars, trucks, tractors and bikes.
Events include a car show, bike show and truck show, along with a range of vintage tractors, with 100 cars and nearly the same number of motorcycles expected.
The swap meet and market runs all day. Entry is $10 for vendors and just $2 for lookers, with free entry for children.
Entry is also free for owners of display vehicles. For information, call Scotty on 0432 621 204.
