To make the grand final was a huge achievement for See Thru, who had only been put together this year with a few experienced Division 1 players who’d been in Division 2 and some new comers to town.
A highly skilled and fast paced game kept the crowd entertained with only a few goals separating the teams at each break.
Beth Chilcott - standing at 186cm - played outstanding in combination with Melanie Hodgson for Starlets See Thru, defending the goal circle to restrict sister pair of Jen O'Brien and Ally Fenney. Equal to the task, Starlets Paragon defenders Ali Doyle and Stephanie Martyn worked tirelessly in an attempt to shut down See Thru's shooters Tara Chilcott and Kim Kennedy, who worked seamlessly together. In the end, it was Starlets See Thru the victors, taking the premiership by 2 goals.
