Mark Kempton is Number Forty Seven Gallery’s next exhibiting artist with a colourful series of artworks titled Fungi Fantastia. This is Mark’s second exhibition at the Rylstone Gallery. His first one was held around a year ago and was well received. Mark spent his school days in Mudgee, before becoming a high school teacher where he continued to pursue his love of art and landscape and the creative process.

The series of fungi artworks mimic the amazing psychedelic colours that actually exist in nature and will create quite a lot of comment. The exhibition opens this Saturday, October 1 from 4pm to 6pm and everyone is welcome to call in for some fungi fun. It will remain open on Thursdays to Mondays until Sunday, October 30.
Mike and Diane Quaife who are about to open their Naked Lady Wines cellar door in Rylstone are generous sponsors and will be pouring out their wine for all to try. The gallery will also have Mark’s Fungi on cards for sale.
