As the Year 12 students of Mudgee High School currently work their way through their all-important Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams their annual fundraising total continues to tick over, thanks to a number of students shaking a bucket at the A Day On The Green concert on Saturday.
And there’s more to come from this week as well.
The students worked the crowd at the concert on the weekend – a tradition of the MHS graduating year – and returned with their buckets heavy with donations.
Their efforts are set to add to the already impressive figure raised so far of $25,000-plus announced at the Year 12 presentation assembly prior to the recent school holidays.
The beneficiaries of this year’s fundraising will be the Mudgee District Hospital operating theatre and Ambulance NSW.
More is set to be added this week at the Property Shop’s Tradies Night on Thursday. The final amount will be announced – and the money passed on to the beneficiaries – at the Year 12 formal.
