Police are calling for witnesses after a man was allegedly stabbed in Mudgee yesterday.

About 9.30am on Monday 16 January 2017, a 36-year-old man presented to the Mudgee Hospital with stab wounds to his neck, left abdomen and left arm.
Officers from Mudgee Local Area Command commenced investigations.
The incident is said to have occurred on Short Street, Mudgee around 9am yesterday (Monday 16 January 2017).
The 36-year-old man has since been taken to Dubbo Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Detectives are calling for anyone who was in the area or saw anything suspicious to contact Crime Stoppers.
