Cudgegong RFS crews quickly contained the blaze but hundreds of sheep were lost – luckily no property was damaged.
Landmark Mudgee is organising a fundraiser to try and soften the blow, where producers can consign with their agent of choice a number of stock, either sheep, lambs, cattle or bulk class wool bales, with those funds going to the fundraiser. Any donations may be left at 10 Sydney Rd.
