The 79th annual Rylstone-Kandos Show is ready to showcase the very best of our community.
Show Secretary, Nancy Keek, commented on the high quality of the show, stating that our community has one of the better presented pavilions in the state.
Entrants competing for a ribbon are expected to be high this year due to ideal weather conditions for producers and the popularity of the show gaining widespread attention.
After record ticket sales last year, the committee have worked hard to make this year’s show bigger and better.
They are introducing their first Hereford Feature Show and a Best Dressed Ladies and Gents Award.
There will be a Polo match for the evenings’ hillside spectators.
Popular evening exhibits will remain, including the woodchopping, young farmer challenge, the dog jumping competition and the consistently impressive fireworks.
Early entrants can deliver their produce on Monday and Tuesday between 10-4pm, direct to the Admin building located at the Rylstone Show Grounds.
Fresh produce entrants are asked to deliver their produce on Thursday between 10-4pm and Friday morning prior to 10am direct to the Rylstone Community Hall.
The show commences with the opening of the pavilion on Friday night, 6pm.
