The Essential Theatre production will perform Much Ado About Nothing at the cellar door on February 26.
Last year, they performed Romeo and Juliet.
Gooree Park Manager, Jackie Conroy said it’s a great event.
“Essential Theatre have been traveling around Australia since early January – to different wineries from Western Australia through South Australia, Victoria and it ends up here.
“They’ll perform in the Hunter Valley on Saturday night and Gooree Park on the Sunday.
“The weather is looking perfect – not to hot – so we’re really excited,” she said.
Much Ado About Nothing is a comedy by William Shakespeare thought to have been written in 1598 and 1599, as Shakespeare was approaching the middle of his career. The play was included in the First Folio, published in 1623.
Much Ado About Nothing is generally considered one of Shakespeare's best comedies because it combines elements of mistaken identities, love, robust hilarity with more serious meditations on honour, shame, and court politics.
General admission, family passes and limited VIP tickets are still available to the event.
“The VIP tickets include a beanbag, glass of bubbly on arrival and front of house seating,” she said.
Tickets can be purchased from the Gooree Park website: www.gooreepark.com
