Kandos and Rylstone ANZAC Day

Dawn services were held in Kandos and Rylstone, marking the 102nd Anzac Day. They united to march, comprised of current serviceman, veterans, families of veterans, local emergency services and Kandos High School student representatives. Jayden Taylor, former Kandos High School student and a Battle management systems and communications specialist in the RAAF, lead the march through Angus Ave in Kandos. Jayden said he “felt very privileged to be able to march alongside the returned service personal of my home town. I also felt very proud to represent my unit and the Royal Australian Air Force.” By his side was Lyn Rawlinson – marching in honour of her brother, Barry George, who died in Vietnam, and local Cadets leader, Ms Campbell.
