Todd James Davis, aged 34, of Winbourne Street, Mudgee, was not before Mudgee Local Court last Wednesday and asked the matters be dealt with in his absence.
On April 20, Davis was seen by police driving in Lewis Street and when he stopped he was questioned.
He said he had a licence but didn’t know if it was suspended or not, a check revealed he held a learner’s permit which was suspended on March 19 for driving unaccompanied.
His passenger on this occasion had never held a licence.

A man who breached an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) that his housemate had taken out against him, was fined $600.
Stefano De-Angelis, aged 53, of Lions Drive, Mudgee, failed to face court for the charge ‘Contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic)’.
On March 14 he and the victim had been drinking before the victim went to sleep in the lounge room.
He was later woken by De-Angelis shaking him and yelling at him about the house work and bills.

A Scone man who damaged a house in Mudgee was fined $500 and ordered to pay compensation of $165.
Hayden Thomas Simpson, aged 22, of Susan Street, Scone, was charged in the early hours of April 9.
At about 1am the occupant of a house in White Circle, Mudgee, was woken by Simpson punching and damaging their roller door.
They called police, provided a description of Simpson, and directed them to a party further up the street – where he was found.

A woman who was listed to appear in court for failing to complete community service, had a warrant issued for her arrest when she didn’t turn up.
Hayley Pheobe Peterson, aged 20, of Sydney Road, Mudgee, had been sentenced to 50 hours community service for the charge ‘Assault officer in execution of duty’ on April 20, 2016.
Peterson was reported after failing to attend on a number of occasions and had only completed around 18 hours.
She was charged following an incident late on February 13, 2016.
Police were called to a fight at the intersection of Gladstone and George streets.
Peterson began yelling and swearing at officers, after she was warned about her behaviour – which she also directed at residents that had been woken – she was placed under arrest.
She kicked and punched the officers and continued the uncooperative behaviour at Mudgee Police Station and on the drive there.
