Anyone heading away on a long weekend getaway would have noticed the flood of traffic heading in the opposite direction on the Castlereagh.
The towns of the Blue Mountains and Central West are highly-regarded destinations for Sydney-siders, each with their own drawcards and landmarks.
Well, most of them anyway.
A boy from Manly was quizzed by his Orange-based uncle on what he and his family had seen during their day-long journey.
“The Three Sisters in the Katoomba, Mount Panorama in Bathurst and the old mine things in Lucknow,” he answered.
“What’s in Lithgow?” the uncle asked.
“ … Maccas.”
