Only a small number of players made the trip to Forbes resulting in the club forfeiting second grade and colts for the first time since re-entering the Blowes Cup.
The Wombats will need to regroup this weekend at home in order to host Cowra.
The Platypi are in equal second on the Blowes Clothing Cup ladder after Saturday's game.
The Wombat women travelled to Dubbo on Saturday to take on Bathurst, trying hard but ultimately going down.
It was a better weekend for the junior Wombats, who continue to do well in the central west competition with teams in all age groups currently in the top four.
Last Saturday the 13s Blue had a big win over Parkes, 47 to 5, the 13s Red went down to Wellington 33 to 10, the 15s had a huge 64 to 7 victory over the combined Narromine/Parkes team and the 17s scraped home in a tight match against Narromine 26 to 24.
