How they met?
Chris and I met on a night out in Sydney at The Loft whilst I was celebrating my 21st birthday. Chris managed to get my number and it all went from there.
The proposal
Last year we went on a trip to Singapore and Chris proposed. At the wedding we had Singapore Slings as our signature cocktail as a little memory from our engagement.
The dress:
I have always loved lace sleeves and the “off the shoulder cut”.
While flicking through wedding magazines I saw a Pronovias gown that I absolutely loved - found a stockist in Melbourne and it was the first and only dress I tried on. It was everything that I imagined my wedding dress to be!
The wedding location
Chris is from Yeoval and I am from Bondi – so finding a location was a bit tricky.
My mum and dad were married in Mudgee, as were my grandparents, so we gravitated towards having a country wedding and it was really special to get married somewhere with family history to it.
The bridal party
Our bridal party consisted of Chris’s best friends, Andrew (Panda) and Elliot and his brother Michael. And my gorgeous bridesmaids were my two best friends, Marnie and Lauren and Chris’s sister Danika.
The special day
For us, as we live in Melbourne away from our friends and family just having everyone who was important to us be in the one place was beyond incredible.
Walking down the aisle with my dad was a special moment that I will be able to treasure forever.
The honeymoon
We are going to do a belated honeymoon next year and link it in with our one-year anniversary.

Tips for a Mudgee region wedding?
I would definitely recommend that you book early – Mudgee is becoming such a popular destination for weddings – and use local produce wherever you can. As our wedding favours we had bottles of garlic infused olive oil from The Olive Nest and they were amazing. Something our guests could take home with them.
